New to Woodward

Woodward Church of Christ (WCC)... where faith grows.

We are doing our best to help faith grow in the life of every person we come in contact with. Our hope is that every thing we do, every place we go, every word we speak could somehow help the seed of faith grow in the life of a friend, loved one, neighbor, or family member. Before we plan every service, every event, every program, and every community service project we ask ourselves the question, "Will this help faith grow"? If not, we don't pursue it.

Our goal is to become a church where ...

Men are challenged, risks are taken, excellence is demanded, efficiency is encouraged, and progress is rewarded.

Women build authentic relationships, serve others freely, and demonstrate love, grace, and acceptance.

Kids are safely engaged, actively taught scripture, and allowed the freedom to discover God's love.

Seniors are respected, valued, and looked to as life mentors.

Students are encouraged to dream big, live out loud, and lead with boldness.

Families spend time together, believe in each other, forgive each other, and support each other no matter what life brings.

People with flaws and scars live life one day at a time, do their best to raise a family, work hard to make ends meet, travel when finances allow, and strive to maintain healthy relationships, kindness, generosity, and in everything moderation.

The bottom line is that we really want you to join in with us and we want you to tell everyone you know about WCC. So take the challenge. Come once, check things out, kick the tires, look under the hood, get to know us and give us a chance. If you leave and your faith hasn't grown then we'll know we aren't meeting our goal when you don't ever come back. But if you leave and your faith has grown and you feel something special in your heart and mind, then please come back as often as you can.
